Alissa May Come on down to the Foundation office - Lobby Room 12 - and say hello to our new staff member, Alissa May. As the Director of Philanthropy - Annual Giving and Communications, Alissa will focus on our annual fund program and ensure that we regularly communicate our successes and incredible life-saving work.

Alissa recently completed the gargantuan task of mobilizing the most people in Bay Area history (5,000+) around a volunteer effort for the Super Bowl 50 Host Committee as their Director of Volunteers with Dignity Health as the volunteer program's sponsor. She has served the Bay Area in her philanthropic, corporate social responsibility, and volunteer support roles for over ten years with the Super Bowl 50 Host Committee, Red Cross, Edgewood Center, SF CARD, and now St. Mary's Foundation!

Giving back is where she finds her energy and enthusiasm for work every day along with hiking, skiing, and refereeing high school football. Alissa said, "I look forward to growing and learning from every person that I encounter. When I walk through the lobby doors, I am hit with this sense of being truly humbled knowing that people are performing life-saving work here every single day."
